Bromyard is a uniquely unspoiled small town in Herefordshire and faces massive challenges over the next few years to retain its commercial centre. This is difficult enough in the current financial climate without some additional challenges faced by the town. These boil down to lack of support from County and Town Council for its businesses and active opposition to change from a small but vociferous negative minority.
